The Rev. Dr. Shelli M. Poe welcomes you to Little River! She is passionate about leading those who seek to grow in faith and love within this spiritual community, and about partnering with local organizations with whom we share our mission and values. After earning her Master of Divinity from Princeton Theological Seminary in 2007, Pastor Shelli was ordained within the Congregational tradition and then received full ministerial standing in the United Church of Christ in 2010.

Rev. Travis Drummond
Associate Pastor of Christian Education & Outreach
Rev. Travis Drummond was born and raised in Westmoreland, Jamaica, and has an extensive background in pastoral leadership, mentorship, and theological education. An ordained minister in the Jamaica Baptist Union, Rev. Drummond has dedicated his life to nurturing faith communities and fostering spiritual growth, particularly among children and youth.

Kathy Heyman
Office Administrator
Kathy came to Little River United Church of Christ in February 2018 to be our office administrator. Her past work has mainly been with non-profit organizations. Kathy coordinates the church calendar and building usage, in addition to assisting the pastors and trustees.

Digital Communications Specialist
Travis White earned a Bachelor of Science in Fashion Merchandising and Management from Southern New Hampshire University. Following graduation, he built a career in digital communications, social media strategy, photography, videography, and visual storytelling, working with brands and organizations to strengthen their online presence through creative content and authentic engagement.

Jay Shackley
Communications Assistant
Jay has been at Little River all his life, attending the attached preschool and Sunday school when he was growing up, as well as going through Pilgrim Fellowship and Confirmation. He graduated from Rochester Institute of Technology in upstate New York with a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering in 2021.

Building & Grounds Manager
Chris has more than 30 years experience in facilities and grounds maintenance including military housing at Quantico and facilities and housing at the Navy Yard, Naval Research Lab, Naval Observatory, Annapolis and Bolling Air Force Base.
