Rev. Travis Drummond was born and raised in Westmoreland, Jamaica, and has an extensive background in pastoral leadership, mentorship, and theological education. An ordained minister in the Jamaica Baptist Union, Rev. Drummond has dedicated his life to nurturing faith communities and fostering spiritual growth, particularly among children and youth. Before joining Little River UCC, Rev. Drummond served as the Lead Pastor of the Annotto Bay Circuit of Baptist Churches in his home country for seven years, overseeing four congregations and spearheading transformative initiatives such as youth mentorship programs, community outreach projects, and educational empowerment institutes. His deep passion for faith formation led him to serve as a camp counselor and chaplain for over a decade, guiding young people in their spiritual journeys. Additionally, his tenure as a mentorship coordinator for Heart Trust NSTA allowed him to support and develop young leaders through structured training programs. As a Religious Site Coordinator for the Jamaica Council of Churches, he played a crucial role in public education initiatives aimed at combating HIV stigma and fostering safe and affirming spaces within faith communities. Rev. Drummond’s theological perspective has been shaped by his extensive studies, including his current pursuit of a Master of Arts in Theology at Wesley Theological Seminary. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Ministerial Studies from the University of the West Indies, Mona, a Diploma in Theology from the United Theological College of the West Indies, and a Bachelor of Arts in Theology with a Minor in Guidance & Counseling from Bethel Bible College. He is excited to create dynamic and enriching educational programs that inspire, enrich, and equip believers.
