Chosen Family Brunch

The Open and Affirming Ministry invites you to attend the next Chosen Family Brunch on Saturday, May 30, from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. in Room 8. The potluck brunch welcomes all LGBTQ+ members, friends, and their allies. Bring a brunch dish to share or just bring yourself—all are welcome to enjoy this meal and time of community!

 We are very happy that Evelyn BruMar will be our guest speaker. She is the executive director and founder of the Casa BruMar Foundation, a nonprofit working to advance equity for the LGBTQ+ community across Virginia. Evelyn has been recognized for her leadership and advocacy, including receiving the Prince William County Human Rights Award. She currently serves as Vice Chair of the Prince William County Human Rights Commission. We look forward to learning more about Casa BruMar’s work and how we can support it.
