Shrove Tuesday Pancake Supper and Family Bingo

Get ready to indulge before the fast! We’re tossing on the aprons and heating up the griddles for our annual Shrove Tuesday Pancake Supper at 6 p.m. on February 17. It’s the ultimate “Fat Tuesday” celebration, and you’re invited to fill up on fluffy stacks and festive fun. Once you’ve had your fill of flapjacks, Family Bingo kicks off at 6:30 p.m. in the choir room. We will have prizes for children and a grand prize gift basket that you won’t want to miss!

Traditionally, on the Tuesday before Ash Wednesday, people emptied sugar, butter, eggs, and such from their cupboards in order to maintain their Lenten discipline of fasting and reflection.
