Hygiene Drive

Hygiene Drive for Main Street Child Development Center

Little River has been proud to partner with Main Street Child Development Center in Fairfax for many years. Main Street was founded in 1973 to serve children from predominantly low-income families, providing critical early learning services to prepare children for success in kindergarten and help their parents maintain full-time employment. Main Street is one of the recipients of gifts at our annual Service of the Gift.

Main Street is now conducting a special Hygiene Drive for its families, and we are collecting items that we will deliver to them. We invite you to bring donated items to church until Wednesday October 23 – new and unopened please! We’ll deliver the stash to Main Street on the afternoon of the 24th. We will have a collection area in the church atrium. Thank you!

Items they are particularly looking for:

  • Soap

  • Toothpaste and tooth brushes

  • Laundry detergent

  • Dish detergent

  • Paper products: Paper towels, Kleenex and TP

  • Shampoo

  • Deodorant

  • Use your imagination!

We’ll have a collection area in the lobby. And thank you!
