Chosen Family Brunch

The Open and Affirming Ministry invites LGBTQ+ members, friends, and allies to a potluck brunch on Saturday, February 28, starting at 10:30 a.m.

Join with chosen family members for food and community in room 8. This is a purely social gathering—no agenda, no minutes.

We will welcome Arise Campus Ministry. Arise serves George Mason University and NOVA Annandale. The Rev. Drew Ensz, Ministry Director for Arise and no stranger to LRUCC, and one or two GMU students will talk with us about the effects of anti-DEI efforts at the university, particularly how they have impacted LGBTQ students.
