Blessing of the Backpacks

As a new school year begins, Little River UCC invites students, teachers, school staff, and families to join us for our annual Blessing of the Backpacks on Sunday, August 23 during worship at 10:15 a.m.

This special tradition is an opportunity to celebrate the beginning of a new school year and pray for students, educators, and all those who support our schools. During the blessing, students and educators will receive a special backpack tag as a reminder that God goes with them wherever they learn, teach, and serve.

Bring your backpack and join us for this meaningful moment of encouragement, prayer, and community.
